1. Drop your tax to 0%. What this will do is raise your happiness to 100%. The other benefit of these is that it raises your population to your limit. Which gives you more people to build army with.

2. Once your happiness reaches 90% go ahead and click on increase gold. The amount that you will collect will depend on the size of your population and on your tavern level. This amount will be like 6X the amount that were getting in an hour before.

4. You keep doing this over and over. Every time it gets to 90% you collect gold. It usually takes 15-20 minutes to fill back up to 90%. 5. With all the extra gold that you make you can use it to buy resources from the marketplace when you need them.
